Where is AI Heading in HR: The Future of Talent Acquisition
The Future of AI in HR: Finding the Perfect Balance Between Automation and Humanity
Imagine a future where companies find the ideal candidates instantly. Artificial intelligence (AI) can analyze available data in seconds and offer optimal solutions — from assessing candidates’ skills to proposing fair offers based on their previous experience and achievements.
Recently, I spoke with the founder of a small company who shared a concept that takes into account the entire professional history of a candidate, including reviews, age, education, and even college grades. This AI-based model evaluates risks and calculates the probability of a candidate’s success in a particular role. It also provides recommendations on the most appropriate offer to extend.
AI Replacing HR Departments
Such an AI-powered specialist performs the work of an entire HR department. It works without emotions, doesn’t need rest, and operates 24/7. Every stage — from resume analysis to offer creation — is automated, eliminating human error and subjective bias.
But does this future raise concerns? Will we lose the human touch that plays a vital role in decision-making? Could automation replace HR professionals entirely, leaving them without jobs?
Very soon, we will live in a world where the perfect resume becomes your business card. The CV will evolve into a digital story of your achievements.
A bit scary, isn’t it? :)
